Classical concert
The Danube Symphony Orchestra was formed in 1961. Since then they have given many performances both in Hungary and abroad. The Orchestra consists of 60 professional musicians. Their repertoire covers almost every musical style from the Baroque music to music of the 20th century. Their permanent concert hall is the theatre of the Danube Palace, Budapest. Apart from the concerts they organize both for adults and children, they regularly play at various musical events held in Budapest. They are frequent guests at the Music Academy, at the Vigadó, at the Stephanie Palace and at the Convention Centre. They have had international contacts since 1983 and have been invited to play in many foreign countries. They have often accompanied solo artists at music competitions and participated in colourful operettas, ballets and oratorio performances as well. Not only do the musicians work together in this orchestra but in several chamber orchestras as well. Besides their permanent conductor András Deák, they are often conducted by other Hungarian and foreign conductors.

Hungarian State Ensemble

The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble - regarded as one of the best in Hungary, was established in 1951. Its aims were to collect and play authentic folk music and to preserve the Hungarian folk dances and traditional costumes of Hungarian-inhabited areas by putting them on stage for the public. During the more than five decades of its existence, the Ensemble has achieved its aim by revitalizing the culture of the Hungarian people. Their rich and colourful repertoire entitled the Ensemble to be regarded as one of the top touring groups in the world. It has performed in 44 countries across four continents and won the admiration of an audience of more than seven and a half million people.

Folklor - Danube Folk Ensemble
Founded in 1957, the Danube Folk Ensemble is one of the most popular professional groups in Hungary. The members of the ensemble are both excellent dancers and musicians. The Ensemble consists of 24 professional dancers and 5 musicians. The Duna Dance Workshop, working closely with the Duna Art Ensemble, gives opportunities for the creative experimentation and theatrical presentation of the hungarian folk dance. Göncöl Orchestra also gives individual concerts based on authentic folk music. The aim of the ensemble is to perform genuine dances with dynamism and style, and to create innovative dance-theatre pieces on these principles. In addition to establishing a distinctive style through the vision of their artistic director, Zsolt Juhász, the ensemble regularly works together with noted guest choreographers. The Danube Folk Ensemble`s repertoire includes some gems of Hungarian folk dance tradition, while the Hungarian folk music is faithfully interpreted by its musicians.

The world famous Rajkó Orchestra offers a unique musical experience. This company of young gipsy musicians was established in 1952. Their gift is born from the traditions of century old gipsy dynasties. The exceptional professional skills of the Rajkós are due to a special educational method that contrentrates on preserving their natural aptitude for improvisation an essential precondition of virtuosity. The Rajkó Orchestra performs in many different formations. The fifty strong main orchestra and the six to eight splinter chamber groups are equally celebrated guest on the world’s most prestigious stages. They are also adept at accompanying well known soloists and dance ensembles. Organ concert
The St. Anne Church makes home for our organ-concert series. The St. Anne Church is one of the most beautiful baroque buildings of Budapest. The construction of the church started in 1740, according to the plans of Kristóf Hamon, and was completed by Mátyás Nepauer in 1761. In the next 200 years the church suffered from wars, floods and earthquakes, even it was planned to be demolished, owing to the construction of the metro network. Fortunately this plan was not realised, and the church was reconstructed between 1970-1984. The programme of the concert was adapted for the organ of this church by Gábor Lehotka, professor of the Academy of Music in Budapest. Anasztázia Bednarik, Miklós Teleki and László Attila Almásy regularly give concerts in Hungary, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
